The full service, independent insurance agency has continuously served the unique needs of local and seasonal residents of our quaint community generation after generation. The Hentschell family's association with The Savings Agency began with R.G. Hentschell, who took over its management during the 1950s. Bill Hentschell, Sr. seized the opportunity to purchase the agency during the 1960s. Bill's son, Bill Hentschell, Jr., followed in the family business, joining The Savings Agency in 1974, and purchasing it in 1986. While evolving with the times and our distinctive home base population and high density tourist and seasonal residency, The Savings Agency has strived to perpetuate our hometown ideals: value and service with utmost consideration to our clients' unique needs.
